In my geography class at East Stroudsburg University, we were all assigned groups with a different culture for each of us. We are all on an expedition and we are finding out information about our culture. Each culture is so different, unique and so interesting to learn about. My culture is the Yakuts, and I am very excited to blog about it and hopefully teach you all a little something you didn't know! :)

Introduction of Yakuts Culture.
The people of the Yakut culture are different from any other cultures around the world. The Yakut people live in Siberia in an area where it is mostly Taiga vegetation. There are about 400,000 of them located around Russia. They speak a language that I personally have never heard of, it is called Turkic.
